We didn’t feel the previous access was safe for guests and it has been a priority for some time. What a huge job though – council approval, new pipes, a huge amount of dirt and gravel and tar were also required. We are grateful to friends and Bob for assistance, and of course our Tractor Betsy who never lets us down!
The most exciting part for me though was when Brett and I were in town purchasing some metal to weld the new fire pod. I have to admit initially I was not too happy to be visiting the metal shop, however when I discovered that Bennetts Steel who have the most amazing signs – well that changed things. Lockie designed and made this sign for us in two days and we immediately got to work installing it with some timber posts and a recycled slab we had in the shed.
So happy with the result, it suits Booyong perfectly – What do you think?
