We are super proud of the Greater Sydney Landcare – Landcarer of the year Liz Charlton who won her award for her work at the Grange.

The Grange is owned by Barker College and Liz runs the Outdoor Education and Environmental Studies Centre, which is situated at  Mt. Victoria in the western Blue Mountains. Educating young adults about the environment is a true passion.

Liz has visited Booyong often and we spend hours wandering through the rainforest identifying plants.

Our friendship began when we were young adults ourselves and we spent a great many weekends and holidays hiking all over NSW. A treasured and lifelong friend.
